Loose Trailer Kills Woman on Interstate 10 in Mississippi

MOSS POINT, Miss. (AP) - A motorist died after her vehicle was hit head-on by a trailer that had come loose from a truck and crossed the I-10 median in Jackson County, Mississippi.
The victim's name has not been release.
A highway patrol spokesman says the accident happened Wednesday after a trailer broke loose from a westbound pickup, and the trailer crossed the median, hitting the woman's Toyota in the eastbound lanes of I-10 at the Alabama state line.
Truck's driver was not injured.
